Mathew and Nicole’s romantic wedding was held on Saturday 14th September, 2019. We asked them a few questions about their special day, read on for their answers in their own words.
How did you meet?
We met in high school, although we were friends for years before we actually got together.
How did Mathew pop the question?
In Paris, overlooking the Eiffel tower.
Why did you choose Indooroopilly Golf Club as your wedding venue?
For the beautiful grounds, all-inclusive package and the incredible staff.
Favourite Wedding Day memory?
Our whole ceremony, It was so personal and fun.

Were there any funny moments throughout your day?
Lots of funny moments! The golf buggy’s were particularly fun (and maybe a little dangerous).
What advice would you give to future couples planning a wedding?
Find a venue who makes everything as easy as possible for you. You don’t want to be stressing about details in the lead up to the wedding or on the day. That’s why we loved Indooroopilly Golf Club. Everything we needed on the day was organised for us.
Choose somewhere that you can have every part of the wedding at – ceremony, photos and reception. It makes for an easy day.
Write your own vows. It made our ceremony so special and personal. Everyone loved it.
Is there anything else you would like to say about your special day?
I (Nicole) was so nervous in the lead up to the wedding, but it really was the best day ever and it turns out that I had nothing to worry about. Our vendors completely looked after us in every way possible. It was really the most amazing day and I wish we could do it all over again. Our main hope for our wedding was that it was fun for us and for our guests, and the people we chose to look after us on the day totally made that possible. We had the best celebrant, the best photographer and the best venue!
